Safe Guarding online party support for schools & PTA Groups

 

  • Each booking will be allocated a private online Zoom link, meeting ID and password.

  • We require x1 representative from a school to attend each online school disco. 

  • Each child will be required to use their first name as the profile name.

  • Each user will be required to have their screen on at all times unless communicated beforehand by the school representative.

  • Zoom chat function will be disabled.

  • All users will be muted throughout the virtual school disco unless unmuted by the entertainer.

  • Each school representative will have access to communication with the entertainer via text message throughout the online school disco via 07515032355.

 

During these unprecedented times, Disco Factory UK will work closely with schools, PTA group and parents to ensure that their child's safety online must be seen as paramount.

How safe are the virtual school discos?

Our online school disco will be performed via Zoom.

You will be provided with a unique web address, meeting I.d, and a secure password.

Anyone who joins and does not display a live video will be removed.

 

How many can we have per virtual school disco?

100 guests at a time.

 

What is included?

The virtual disco is a mix or Dancing and Challenges with loads of engagement and interaction with DJ Mike.

Every part of the disco has been designed and tested for each of the age groups.

 

How will you keep all the children engaged while they are not in front of you?

Obviously, the entertainment part is critical, but we’ve done lots of testing and have implemented rules from the start:

1) Everyone stays on mute; DJ Mike controls this.

2) No virtual backgrounds; DJ Mike controls this.

3) No Typing messages in the comments; DJ Mike controls this.

4) All participants leave within 5 minutes of the end before the next disco starts; DJ Mike controls this.

5) All participants to have their name displayed on their zoom screen.

 

Which year groups do we include in each online school disco?

We recommend:

Nursery & Reception

Y1, Y2, Y3

Y4, Y5, Y6

However, it really doesn’t matter apart from Nursery and Reception, who we recommend have their own disco.

 

How long is each virtual school disco?

30 Mins, but they also get 10 mins before to join. DJ Mike will be playing background music during that time.

 

How long do we break between each virtual school disco?

15 or 30 minutes

 

Do you give out prizes?

We don’t, but the school could fund this if you would like to.

For example, Beechwood Park provided x2 £10 amazon vouchers per disco. This really helped with engagement for years 5&6

 

What’s the best way for the children to take part?

A Computer, Tablet, or mobile phone.

They just need space to dance!

 

How can we share all the log in details of the online school disco?

We will design a personalised digital invitation for each disco for you to share with each year group.

 

What is your availability?

Only DJ Mike is doing our zoom parties, so availability is limited.

We expect this will be very popular.

 

What's the cost of this?

£50 per 30 minutes disco, we don't charge for the breaks in between.

 

How do we pay?

We no longer accept cheques. You can pay by bank card or bank transfer no later than 10 days before.
